AL THUMAMA STADIUM
BIMTEC was appointed by Al Jaber Engineering – Tekfen JV as a BIM Consultant to establish the BIM Department for full Management and Coordination for all stages of the project. BIMTEC also provides Construction and As-Built BIM production including but not limited to construction models, shop drawings and delivery of the integrated Asset Information Model (inclusive of COBie datasheets). Additionally, BIMTEC provides laser scanning survey and technology to be employed for recording As-Built elements and verifying against the construction BIM Models, as well as deviation report point clouds against 3D Models.
QATAR ORBITAL HIGHWAY
JEC built Orbital Highway in 2019, Joint venture with Leighton Contracting Qatar. The road infrastructure project—located west and south of Doha city—will provide the New Orbital Highway connecting Mesaieed to Salwa Road. The major elements consist of:
- 57 km of road works with 5 main interchanges (30 km of 14 lanes Orbital Highway / 27 km of 8–16 lane side roads)
- 4 no. Grade-separated cloverleaf type interchanges and 1 no. Grade-separated junction comprising 24 no. Bridge structures
- 18 no’s braiding and emergency exits
- Pedestrian & bicycle paths with appropriate underpass structures
- New utilities such as surface drainage works, TSE line, electrical works, street-lighting works, Q-Tel, QAF, ITS ducts.
RAS ABU ABOUD STADIUM
BIMTEC have been assigned by HBK Contracting Company, the main contractor of Ras Abu Aboud Stadium and Precinct project to manage and provide solutions to all BIM and Coordination related scope inline with the Supreme Committee (SC) requirements. These requirements include reviewing and auditing the design models deliverable by design consultants, providing coordination and clash detection services between all disciplines, 4D/5D, COBie, tagging assets, and providing As-Built models LOD500 with drawings via the use of laser scanning. BIMTEC also represents HBK for the overall BIM management during the design and construction phases through the BIMTEC on-site management team and provides the shop drawings and LOD400 models for all disciplines through the BIMTEC technical off-site team. Other services include laser scanned surveying, laser scanning technologies employed for recording As-Built elements and verification against BIM construction models, as well as reporting deviation point clouds against 3D Models.
QATAR SALWA INTERCHANGE
Built by JEC in 2009,
This project to construct 10 interchanges on Salwa International Highway consisted of the following main tasks:
- Site clearance and demolition
- Earthworks
- Sub-base and road base
- Flexible surfacing
- Road marking
- Bridge structure
- Street lighting
- 34 km of cable trench
- 16 km of water pipelines
The scope also extended to all associated civil, mechanical and electrical works.
QATAR PETROLEUM DISTRICT
Built by JEC in 2016, Joint venture with Bouygues and Midmac Contracting. This development involved a building complex in the Qatar Petroleum District, situated in Doha’s new business district in West Bay in a built area covering approximately 700,000 m². The development comprises:
- 9 high-rise office towers, 52 stories high
- Five-star hotel
- 15 podiums
- Elevated state-of-the-art car park for more than 5,000 cars
- Primary substation and energy center
The Barwa Financial District is a complex and prestigious project conceptualized to serve the global, regional and local financial sector.
DEAD SEA RESORTS
Developments on 3 separate plots within the Jordan Dead Sea Development Zone; one of which is a four-star hotel and the other is a wellness centre focused on health therapy, employing natural methods to treat skin diseases, respiratory diseases, rheumatic diseases, cardiac diseases, and others.
DOHA METRO GOLDLINE
Built in 2019, Doha Metro is part of the Qatar Integrated Railways Program (QIRP). The Gold Line underground section of the network runs East/West through the heart of Doha City, starting to the East at Airport City and continuing through Al Sharq, Doha Souq, Msheireb and Al Adhawaa, before following both Al Sadd Street and Al Waab Street to the West of Doha and terminating at Sports City in the Aspire Zone. The scope of work will include the design and construction of all civil engineering and building work for this section.
AL AIN HOSPITAL
Al Ain Hospital is a general hospital delivering health services to all Al-Ain patients located at Al Jimi, Al Ain. The project consists of a two-storey hospital building which involves parking facilities, a logistics center, and a 60MW primary substation. The hospital will have 719 beds, including 484 beds for general medicine, surgery section, children’s ward, and maternity; 67 for ICU; 142 for medical rehabilitation; 26 for VIP patients and royal suites.
Out of the 713 beds, 150 beds will be dedicated to rehabilitation. The hospital will also include 104 advanced specialized clinics, 17 radiology rooms for X-ray, computerized tomography (CT) scans, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services, as well as 22 specialized rooms for endoscopy diagnosis and procedures.
QATAR COOL
Built by JEC in 2016, the works for this project include the design, supply, delivery, erection and installation on-site of a district cooling plant with a guaranteed capacity of 35,000 tons of mechanical refrigeration and a 5,000 ton thermal energy storage tank (TES) capacity. Work on the plant, which is intended to serve the West Bay area, includes architectural and civil works together with the provision of all the necessary mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire (MEPF) equipment and installations, as well as the associated structures, and the civil works of Kahramaa substation.
BIMTEC provides laser scanning survey for constructed elements, records As-Built elements and verifies against BIM construction Models. BIMTEC also provides deviation report point clouds against 3D Model of primary structure and MEP. Every part of the stadium district has been designed with sustainability in mind. After the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ has elapsed, almost half of the stadium’s 40,000 modular seats will be removed and given to football development projects abroad. The smaller post-tournament arena will enable Al Rayyan to maintain the intimate, neighbourly character it is famous for.

FANAR ISLAMIC CULTURAL CENTER
Completed in 2005 by JTC, A center dedicated to the Islamic culture that consists of a basement, ground floor and eight floors which works comprises construction completion and maintenance with complete building setup from infrastructure and external works with electrical works installation, mechanical, plumbing, internal works, structural and architectural works as described in the project specifications, contract documents
and drawings.

The Port Visitor center building is located outside the Port security fence but within the Port Administration Area, and will be easily accessed by port employees and visitors. The purpose of the building is to provide information to Port visitors, as well as accommodation for educational activities related to port operations, port construction and history studies of maritime activities in Qatar. Built by JEFFERSON in 2022, Set in Lusail, 3.7 km from Lagoona Mall, Century Marina Hotel – Lusail offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a restaurant. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a sauna and a hot tub. Al Shamal Health Center is located in Abu Dhalouf, Qatar, and is part of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC).The center has units for family medicine, pediatrics, dental clinic, ophtalmology, mental health, laboratory, pharmacy, ultrasound and radiology, among others.PHCC manages more than 20 health centers throughout Qatar, looking for giving specialized medical care according to the needs of each area.Al Shamal Health Center has EN-54 certified public address and voice evacuation systems made by LDA Audio Tech in its facilities.
QATAR WOMEN CLUB SPORTS HALL
Built by JTC in 2005, Concrete structure building covered by steel and an aluminum dome that provides a range of different sports facilities and spa exclusively for women.
